Rite-Sensor HD® TPMS Sensor

Rite-Sensor HD® TPMS Sensor

The goals in managing fleets and commercial equipment center around reducing downtime and operating costs. A Tire Pressure Monitoring System helps fleet managers accomplish these objectives.

TPMS helps lower emissions, improve fuel economy, and prevent lost profits due to excessive downtime.

Replacement parts are a key component to any TPMS service program. Having the rite parts with the rite coverage is CRITICAL!

Once again, Bartec TPMS offers a solution that is easy to use, and designed to cover the vehicles that tire service companies service.

Assembly

The RITE-SENSOR HD® comes in two body styles: either assembled with a rubber valve stem or with a Velcro band (see pics). If the vehicle is fitted with aluminum valve stems then the fitter may choose to exchange like-for-like. First remove the rubber valve stem by unscrewing the fastener. Insert the aluminum stem into the sensor. Insert the anti-rotation pin into the hole at the base of the stem, just above the sensor body. Insert NEW fastener into stem and torque to 35.5 in-lbs (4Nm).

Common practice is to exchange a stem mounted replacement part for a universal programmable stem mounted part and a banded part with a universal programmable banded part. Ritesensor HD offers both stem and band mounting and rubber and aluminum valve types to enable like-for-like exchange.
